Boston has always been at the forefront of many new intellectual movements and today’s rapidly evolving economic, environmental, and indeed art-critical conditions make this conference timely and important to all who are interested in glass art. Attendees can look forward to cutting-edge demos, lectures and lec-mos by distinguished artists, scientists and writers. GAS will also be hosting the CMoG Hotglass Roadshow and will offer a number of exciting local tours, including the world-renowned Harvard Blaschka Flowers. Its The Season For Giving - GIVE TO A LOCAL DOG SHELTER OR RESCUE GROUP

This photo is of two bichons -  they are Small Paw Rescue dogs.   Small Paws and many other rescue groups -  take in animals that no longer have a good or safe home.   This Holiday Season include a rescue group in your list of charities.  Perhaps a donation in the name of a deceased animal lover, or in your own name.  
All Shelters are in need of extra cash during the winter months.   Seek out a local shelter, or rescue group.

I had meant to share these with you last fall but my how time gets away from me these days. All of these were mis-lists that I found during my searches on Ebay last September. From the left you have a Myers designed "Brain " decanter in Tangerine, Blenko #678, a Winslow Anderson designed "Swish-it" pitcher in Chartreuse, Blenko #905, a Myers designed #6415 pitcher in Turquoise, and a pre-designer #37 decanter in Ruby. Needless to say it was a very good month.
