Robin Cass faculty member in Glass Program at Rochester Instutite of technology created the item you like. Bid started at 3K. It sold for 14K - this was a fund raiser auction.
Cass work is on perm display at Tacoma Museum of Glass and Center for Contemporary Art.
You obviously have an eye for art.
