SEXY . UNIQUE . Brilliant. Exotic . Hard to Find. BLENKO! These are the words use to describe the Blenko items seen on this page. Blenko is the most welcome gift for Christmas! BLENKO! www.blenkoglass.com
Now tell me please why that vase with the mountaineer is sexy exotic or hard to find you goofed on that one hillary. Steve a marshall fan and a blenko collector you are usually fair.
I am not certain what hormone who are missing but no one your age should be finding glass to be sexy exotic brillant and hard to find. The drinking water in Mtown must have changed. WVUGUY07
Solomon I didn't know but the Texas Collector did - It's a paperweight designed by Joel Myers. Even though it looks ruby, it is probably tangerine. There was an entire line of these paperweights. There was a Ram, Horse, Bear, Owl, Fish and a Snowman. The upcoming Blenko Collectors Newsletter "The Blowpipe" has an excellent article on Blenko paperweights in the next issue written by Karin Alonzo a Texas Collector and VP of the BLENKO COLLECTORS. I recommend joining the BCS - everyone should - its inexpensive - the newsletter alone is worth the cost of membership....and you become part of a group ...a group of people who have passion! Seinfield says Fall in LOVE - have PASSION for something or everything in your life! Start now with BLENKO!. hillary
OK Let's set the record straight. I am NOT FAIR and I am NOT missing HORMONES!
Without planning I've following I've followed Jerry Seinfield Rules for Living 1) Work your butt off 2) Pay attention- learn from everyone and everything all the time 3) FALL in LOVE - with your street, your school - have PASSION for LIFE! In my case...it's BLENKO GLASS AND WEST VIRGINIA! WVUGUY07, perhaps someday I'll find the Prince, for now it's Blenko!
My mother who has passed away, had a Joel Myers blenko glass numbered piece like the ones you have pictured in the "sexy Exotic..." section -- it's the shape of a woman, her head is the stopper, and the base is her dress. It's lime green-ish. I didn't realize it was a collectors item, and I fear I may have given it to "good-will". I'll have to go over to her house and hunt for it. Maybe I just put it away somewhere. I stumbled across your picture quite accidentally looking for vintage images of "witches". (go figure?) I recognized the vase, and thought I'd investigate. Any advice if I find it? How valuable is it?
