Himalayan Monk Lectures - Swami Vidyadhishananda Giri

Tomorrow' Heart of Glass' contributor RT leaves for a spiritual adventure that includes the Himalayan Mountains.
In Charleston - Free Public Lecture Series by Swami Vidyadhishananda Giri
First lecture is " Meditation as a Soulful Exercise In Concentration" Wednesday June 25 (7-9pm) University of Charleston Geary Auditorium.
The lectures continue June 26 Thursday - WVSU PA Williams Auditorium, Institute, WVa.
June 27 (7-9 pm) Charleston Civic Center Little Theater, Charleston, W.Va.
June 30 (7-9) Monday at Marshall University, Huntington, WV
Another session in Ashland Ky. on Wednesday July 2, (7-9) Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital

  1. I know that will be a good lecture, we all need to learn less stress and more spiritual things in life. That is why I love flower beds and pretty glass and the smiles on my grandbabies faces or them just saying love you mommaw. Just image what the heavens really do look like.I remember life being so simple as a child and then boom Mom went to heaven and my work began,sometimes not taking time to read a book or enjoy the things that were simple pleasures to me. Only I do realize that life is as easy as others will let you have it. For if it were not for others we would have time for ourselves all the time.

    I don't think it is large, we do have an India Education Center within a few miles of downtown Charleston.
    Anyone know the answer to this question?

    Most of the Indian population in KY is concentrated in Lexington and Louisville due to the schools. In lexington, you can find atleast 1000 people and this was almost 4 yrs ago.
