  2. Did Damon take this photo? Very good photography. Don't you agree Phani?

  3. Yes it is. A little more light at the base would really bring more color in the picture.

  7. First I would like to say I am not a professional. I have always enjoyed photography and have just picked up on some simple techniques that work given my situation. I would love to have a professional setup as damon adn several others have in use. If you saw my setup now it would make most peopple laugh but it does produce the effect I'm after. AS for the dark bottom I always try to go from dark to light, bottom to top since it reflects a more natural effect. I used my daughters digital camera which is a Sony Cyber-shot 7.2 Meg digital camera. My setup is a white posterboard that is placed next to a wall and draped onto a hard surface that suports the glass. I have a large number of east facing windows in our greatroom that serve to defuse the Texas afternoon sun so that I can take my photos with only natural available light without having to wrestle with defusing an artificial light source. This also prevents the color shift associated with artificial light. This small camera has a wide range of optical and format options as well as a great ability to handle depth of field challenges. Hope this helps with the discussion. Enjoy,
