Blenko - Dalle De Verre

Hillary,
I bought the Dalle, now I need suggestions for what to do with them? I have 3 dozen in different colors. Help!
Joe M.
Joe, What to do? This is limited only by your imagination - people use them in showers, in their yard, in art projects, to etch, for sushi platters, just to add color in a window.
Readers do you have suggestions for Joe?

Blenko Glass website - doesn't list projects for the Dalle but does have the following information and this photo of colors once available at Blenko Glass.

Dalle De Verre (Slab Glass)
Blenko Glass Company began producing Dalle de Verre in the late 1950's when the process was brought to us from France, making Blenko the first United States company to produce dalles. Blenko dalles are hand cast from soda-lime-silica glass and come in a wide variety of repeatable colors. Our hand cast method has not changed since we began making dalles. Dalle de Verre is relatively easy to design and construct, and is an excellent alternative to traditional sheet glass installations. Sample sets are available. Please contact us for availability and pricing

  1. I've seen these used on movie sets
    as desk
    and also showers
surely Blenko Glass will have some photos
    of examples.

  3. I wrote to you about needing blenko lamps and you responded with a link to previous post.
This did not answer my questions, what is currently available and what are the cost for lamps now.
    Thank you.

Great link, my wife is calling them as I type.
Do you have an address book of Blenko inspired sites?
We bought the tiles you recommended, and now this.
You are becoming my spouses' personal Blenko shopper.

  5. Check out their website for ideas - but note they no longer use Blenko.
    Hillary,
Although we did use Blenko glass at one time for our designs, we no longer do. Thank you for your inquiry.

You are one of about a dozen people writing about lamps.
This weekend I'll work on getting photos of lamps and additonal information from Blenko re: what might be available.
