Husted on Ebay

Hilary I want to own this object d' art - Blenko made by Husted. It is now available on Ebay and the price is very low. My question is is this a reproduction or is this Husted Blenko? How can I tell with an online purchase? Carrie Ann

Ask questions of the seller. Many questions. One thing I'm certain of - the stopper shown wasn't original to this piece. I own this one and the stopper mimics the bottom its a triangle ( cone) shape. My computer won't accept photos from my camera so I can't publish a photo . Check the Blenko Collectors Four website or Blenko Museum for photo of this item with the original stopper. HJH
Note: Some collectors will ( when the price is very low) purchase Blenko and then search for the appropriate stopper. Difficult decision.

    I know you don't want to hear this and won't publish the comment
    however what happen to the tammy koslo interview
    and what happen to the wayne husted special editon glass we should save to purchase?
    Some of us read your blog. Do you read the blog? If so why don't you comment on the comments also why do you fail to publish 75% of the comments?

    If you want to purchase new Husted design, you will have to go up to Osburn glass. right now they are doing a new line of water bottle for Napa valley wine people. They are available in Ruby, Green, Cobalt. Just stop in his shop.

    I will donate, having said this, let me also say I agree with Mountain Rita and others, Blenko Glass should provide the computer, photos. Also Blenko should provide weekly updates. Did anyone write to Walter Blenko? If you can provide an address our group will send the letter.

    Corn must be falling from the sky as I keyboard.
    Katie VP person purchase a computer for the blog. Legitimate business expensive PR I would think, but Dr Bob or Phil would know the correct category.
