Blenko Glass

Blenko Glass has made bookends in the shape of Clams, Shells, Cats, Owls etc.
If your interest includes collecting solid glass bookends, think BLENKO GLASS.
This photos is from Margie who lives in Connecticut, Margie makes a trip to Blenko Glass twice each year to purchase glass for herself and her friends.
Do you collect Blenko Glass? If so - we welcome your photos and Glass Collecting stories - send to theblenkoproject@aol.com.

  4. Hi Hilary and All,
I am writing to give you the heads up on the bargains that are currently available at the SOUTH CHARLESTON ANTIQUE MALL'S SUMMER ANNIVERSARY SALE, going on from Aug 18 until Aug. 31. Almost all the vendors are participating with at least 20% off. At Kissin Kates, we are offering 20% off regular AND marked down items. A short list of some of the Blenko in my booth (#31 second floor) are Blenko lamps, signed Husted artist proofs, apricot crackle, vintage paperweights, the tall Mardi Gras vase ( already 60. less than it went on ebay last week- take an additional 20% off) first quality floor vases, regal and much much more. I have also noticed some very underpriced Blenko in other vendors booths - could be a real treasure hunt.
If you need directions, check out the website at Southcharlestonantiquemall.com.
    Have fun!!! Linda

  8. Are you saying homosexual people?
    The group is mostly homosexual?
This isn't true. But who cares if it is true.
Blenko is good glass, quality glass and will become more valuable with age.
If you can find a group, join. You will learn a lot from the old collectors.
