I'm sure you get this alot but I'm trying to determine if a large very heavy electric blue ribbed bottle vase is Blenko and if so what era. Would you have the time to take a look and offer an opinion?

ReplyDeleteThis piece appears to be a #6420 in Turquoise. It was designed by Joel Myers. Would make a nice companion to the#6421 which was the other vertical ribbed piece which was taller and thinner.

ReplyDeleteI was going to let you know that I have ID'd the piece as Blenko #6420 by Joel Myers from ~ 1964.
I think its not blenko I have a vase just like that labeled viking

Viking did copy this or else it was a Viking mold Blenko bought.
We have several that are from Viking.
