My comment is if Hillary knows very little about what goes on at Blenko. Who does know what goes on? Why would Blenko not want this community - readers of a 7 year old blog - that focuses on promoting Blenko to be informed? A blogger who doesn't sell glass or get paid to write or speak of Blenko. Andy Blenko is not Vice President of Blenko. Andy Blenko is the son of Walter Blenko. Andy Blenko is a very talented lawyer. Andy Blenko was born into a family that makes glass and has heard and been near glass his entire life. Thus making him more qualified than many. Andy and his children are the next generation of Blenko. Blenko should be signed by Blenko family.
We plan to arrive on Friday we may do the mountaineer auction on Sat instead of the signing. Plans are to drive to auction house on friday for viewing. We plan to eat at the newly reopened Quarrier Diner on friday night. Jerry read about the art deco and virtiso (sp) glass so our group will visit. Perhaps we will meet other collectors as we visit the antique shops on Fri Sun
ER we won't be coming down for this one. We will be in Weston for paper weight group end of March and in Cleveland for Blenko Guild in April and GAS later this summer.
About Hilary's knowledge of Blenko. Yearly she runs a post saying she knows nothing, she is a dentist very modest and without ego.
I too have found mistakes in the blog, when I write to point the mistake she corrects within 48 hours. Perhaps K or who ever is leaving the comments about mistakes could also email with the correction. Just a thought.
