Blenko Glass - Marshall University Class for Teachers

Hilary,
Recently my child's teacher has become interested in WV Glass,  now he is also.
Marshall University received a grant to allow teachers to learn more about WV Glass so they might bring this knowledge to the classroom.
I know this is something you have been saying for the 7 years I've read this blog.
Were you excited to see this happen?  Will it happen in all of WVa?
Were you involved?  I want my child to know about all WVa 's  history.
Connie  Moore

Connie,
Gandhi said you should " be the change you want to see in the world",    if you like the classroom attention to the glass industry's role in WVa  history  send a note stating this  to your principal,  tell the teacher how much you appreciate the lessons.
Offer to assist.
Art Glass Panel located in the Blenko Glass Museum - upstairs Blenko Glass gift shop.
Thank you for collecting Blenko and for reading the Heart of Glass blog.

  2. Wonderful news re: Marshall University.
The West Virginia State should also be doing this.
All WV schools should teach this part of the state's history.
