Glass Identification

On January 5 we did the following post where Dr. Saul ask us to help him identify BLENKO GLASS he purchased at an estate sale.

We don't have identification for the glass. Please if you have time check out photos and help to identify. Dr. Saul has offered signed Blenko as a reward.

Help this new BLENKO COLLECTOR! Thanks. HJH

  2. This from a non collector
the last one is a myers or nickerson balloon
the red one is a regal by husted
the grey one is also husted.
The yellow with hole is husted if it has blenko etched on bottom.
Could not find the others in the book I have.
    The 'real' collectors should know
    the answers.

  3. Margie,
Dr. Saul reports these items came from an auction in Virginia and they are for sell. Re: how to know if its legitimate Blenko? I recommend joining the BLENKO Collectors Society www.blenkocollectorssociety then reading everything you can find before you start to buy. You will make friends, take them along for the intital shopping trips. I love hunting Blenko with friends.
Let me know how this works for you.

re: on line auctions - after you join the BCS ask them about on line auctions - I don't know enough to recommend. 2 or 3 that I use I'll blog about next week - but I'm a very limited source.
