THIS IS MY 3RD WV WINTER. THE FIRST TWO WERE NICE. THIS YEAR I AM MISSING THE WEST COAST WEATHER. NICE PHOTO BRUCE, ? IS IT THE LIGHT OR DOES THAT FIRST JUG HAVE SOME DESIGN INSIDE? MOUNTAIN RITA
Rita, While I am most definitely not the 'person who would know' my thoughts are its (now I'm guessing a husted 581 or myers 7301?) and we're seeing the shadow. hjh Bruce solve this mystery for Mountain Rita before I really step deep into the S>
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, I love glass and now I have another reason to love Texas. This summer I expect to spend lots of time in Texas. Bruce can you suggest glass museums and shops? I'll be there for July 10-August 24. thanks
Hi Rita, The piece that appears inside or as a design on the outside of the Charcoal jug is actually a Chartreuse #5411 sitting on the table behind the jug. One of the benifits of clear vs. crackle glass. I enjoy juxta-positioning pieces to create surprises in arrangements of our collection. Bruce
Chitrakahn I did receive the 1st annual Marion Blenko Award - I have said little about this as I felt unworthy - there are a dozen people who have done more - Tammy Kosla Damon Crain Blenko Bill Terri and the list goes on . . . not that I should have an award I volunteer for Blenko daily - but these folks came before me and do more than I could ever do. I just happen to be 'available' that year. HJH
