A number of you have been kind enough to write asking about my sofa / end table / lamp / 'hunt' well. . . . I continue to search for special items for my Columbus apartment. The item I am currently seeking is a CLOCK I'd like one similar to this photo. If you run across this beauty at a flea market or under priced at an estate sale. Speed dial me.
Most everyone has this to say about the items I want: " I gave this away in the early 80s."
Thanks for keeping your eyes open! hjh
Herman Miller or George Nelson clock and I gave away in the late 70s.

ReplyDeleteYour decor taste and my son Saul's is identical. Do you favor the bubble and cigar lamps of the 60s he has reproductions and a source for inexpensive ($300) lamps and clocks I am sendng you his email address to theblenkoproject address and I'm sending a copy of this post to him.
My wife and I did not own these things they were too expensive for us in the 60s.

Purple Moon is the name of that shop - he moved to Capitol Street.
ReplyDeleteThis shop does have most every item my heart desires - we recently bought a floor lamp - I'll post a photo soon!
If you love vintage BLENKO GLASS & or quality modern furniture check out Charleston West Virginia's Purple Moon.
