# 3 WVa Blenko Glass Birthday Series 1982




This beautiful glass is number three in the 1980's WVa Blenko Glass series produced and sold to honor WVa 's Statehood.

This vase was sold in the Diamond Department Store - store opened at 10 am, collectors were standing in line before 5 am to purchase. If you arrived after 8am chances you obtained a vase were not good.

This vase cost less than $50 when purchased. Today is valued at $500 to $ 1,100.

    Saw this years ago on the Blenko Musuem web page for $750
    Did not know it was a Vase made for WV Birthday
