ReplyDeleteI've watched the Blenko PBS offering and it demonstrate, not that Blenko makes bad glass, but that as an enterprise making glass they are somewhere in the late 1890s at best design wise, which probably matches the clientele and aesthetics they offer. Why it is put on PBS to raise money is a mystery. It's a total turn off for those of us living over a century past their design vocabulary. There are fabulous craftspeople in America who work in today's idiom. Like Welk's polka music few find any charm in it. Sad
