I made my decision on the color choice by the limitations of the colors I have in my collection. I have six of the Winslow Anderson designed 991 pitchers but only one of the 976 which is in Emerald Green. Of the choices I had available the Chestnut gave the most contrast and the spouts were similar in their execution. Also the optics of the 991 were more visible in the Chestnut piece. The other purpose of this photo was to demonstrate Andersons designs for the blog pages under the various Blenko designers. I have forwarded several more photos of not only Anderson, Husted and Myers but also as yet to be posted Nickerson, Shepherd, and my personal favorite, Predesigner pieces for the blog. Keep tuned in for Vivek posting the rest of the photos over the coming months. Thanks for your question. Bruce Specht
The contrast is lovely,
ReplyDeleteBruce how did you decide to play the brown off the green?
One on the left is not Blenko
