Hello,
I will add blenko color page to blenkoproject website this weekend. However, I have no idea which color is which. I have a basic understanding of the colors, but am unfamiliar with subtle differences. I don't collect blenko as much, I was 'volunteered' into this, so my knowledge is limited.
I will make a temporary color page, and will add images to them as I see correct. If I make a mistake, please let me know, so I can correct them.
Thanks,
V
I'm Looking for a pink Blenko 533, which is the style of this piece. I think one of these is chartreuse unless I'm wrong
ReplyDeleteThe photos you are publishing from Bruce are color coded.
ReplyDeleteHe says this is the color peacock etc.
Your statement is confusing to me?
What can we do to help?

ReplyDeleteMy recommendation is to do the color page off line
then send to Bruce and ask H who else
and then put on line otherwise you have fragments and also the project site will have to be relisted with each change. Which is not good.

ReplyDeleteWho trashed you?
Why not do off line - and ask older not me collectors to proof?

V most collectors are good people.
ReplyDeleteA few people _usually the vocal _ are never happy.
Ignore them.
The Blenko Project has been improved 200%, I use the site in my WVa History Studies and the kids enjoy learning and searching for information.
The new improved site is a welcome addition to my bag of tricks.
am working on it. will make it similar to blenko color page from blenkocollectors, it should be up in 1-2 weeks.
ReplyDeletethanks,
V

ReplyDeleteI purchased the pink 533 and several other items
immediately after the post.
What you have here is chartreuse, sea green, jonquil, turquoise, tangerine, emerald and chartreuse. The collection is missing the rare colors, well, jonquil is sometimes rare, depending on the design. Certain decanters look great in jonquil. 604 is an excellent example.
