This is a nice grouping of Myers designed vases from around 1965-66 when the color Peacock was in production. From left to right you have a Blenko 64C, Blenko 64E, Blenko 64B, and Blenko 64D. Peacock continues to be a challenge for me when it comes to capturing the color correctly.
From Blog friend Bruce
Peacock is a color I'd very much like to see Blenko recycle.
ReplyDeleteThank you Bruce, your photos continue to inspire me.
Blenko lost the ability to make many colors.
ReplyDeleteThe color mixer died some time ago
and now its a volunteer job so I hear.
What is the true story Hilery?
They look more like turquoise. Peacock is much, much deeper.
