As we recently announced, a Blenko Blog reader purchased vintage BLENKO at an estate sale. In an effort to identify his purchases he has offered a reward if we will assist him in identification.
The owner wishes to know who designed each, and as much information about each item as possible. On his behalf we are offering 2 gifts. Both signed BLENKO .... one for the first correct response before December 26th and the other for the email with the most information about the items and correctly identifying the items.
Below are the first set of photographs of the items to be identified:

Title
Heart of Glass - Blenko Glass
Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.

Marigie,
All the items are Blenko Glass.
No question about the Blenko Glass.
We need to know who designed, and the year etc.

Visual interest like beauty is defined by the individual.
Saw BODIES - it was awesome, my Mom's friend a Pathologist from OSU accompanied us and did great additional explanations of techniques used etc. Great time. You should see BODIES - The exhibit. As an artist.
No photos were allowed due to the nature of the exhibit.
We will return to find the identification and perhaps to
find out if they are still being made. Very nice items.
Emerald green goblet with twisted stem.

I know this from my visit to Blenko Glass Co. in Milton.
If your purpose is to sell Blenko why not use photos of items
that can be bought at Blenko?
SUSAN
The purpose of my involvement with BLENKO GLASS has not been to sell
glass but to make people aware of BLENKO GLASS, the craftsmen and to promote buying MADE IN WV Glass
and also to promote collecting Blenko Glass.
see www.blenkoproject.org
Blenko has wonderful salesmen, and marketing folks to sell the glass.
I use vintage BLENKO often - as this is what I collect!
Thank you for making me aware that I need to use current items more frequently.
