Those of you who read this blog regularly know that along with Blenko Glass and WVU, another passion of mine is antique automobiles. Alas, no collection of those yet, but its always fun to look at other peoples - and today you can!
The Tri-State Street Rods Club annual family car show is today (Sunday, June 8) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Ritter Park.
Vehicle registration is $10, and admission is free to the public. Concessions and restrooms will be available.
The charitable event is sponsored this year by Mountaineer Expedite Trucking Co. Charleston. All proceeds will benefit the Salvation Army.
There will be antique cars and trucks, coupes, sedans, convertibles, street rods and customized vehicles. Live music will be performed by The Blown Head Gaskets, a local group playing music from the 1950s, '60s and '70s.
What a great way to spend a warm summer day!

My cars are in the Pittsburgh
show next weekend. Come on up.
Quilty as charged - Sol only you and Uncle Reemas have the keen visual perception required to
catch this.
And here I thought you wore the same red dress to every car show.
