Vintage Blenko On Ebay - NO!

My parents still tell stories about sending Fostoria , Cambridge and Wheeling Glass to the Goodwill when my Nana

died as they had no place to store anything else! Can you imagine? They were young (late 30 early 40? ) and crazy is how they describe themselves. The people who sold these items to the Specht family were like my parent 'they' didn't know what they were selling!

Perhaps you too can, educate yourself - do this by joining the Blenko Collectors Society and then start looking at Vintage Shops, Flea Markets, places like Kissing Kate for the item you want. Below is Specht's story.

Hi,Thought I would share a photo of a couple EBAY "finds" from two weeks ago. They just got delivered today. The Husted "High-heel bowl" set me back $3.99 and the spiral wrapped vase was only $4.99. Great pair to have found at incredible prices. For those I have seen complain about Ebay I offer up these as examples. I looked at VM glasshouse and the Husted piece that he has in Chartreuse is listed at $595.00. The other High-heel bowl that is charcoal and is shown in the collections page was a similar find at $12.00.Enjoy,Bruce Specht
