  1. These are the 1968 series of paperweights, from left to right, 68A, 68H, 68B, 68E, 68D, 68A. I'm still looking for the C, F and G designs to fill in my set. I love the airtwist design.

  2. Diane May I ask what you paid for these?
I want to start a collection, the current stock at blenko sucks.
The ones I find on line are
not made in WV or America
or else they are by some fancy artist I can't afford.
I ask the ladies at Blenko to phone me if a new stock came in 2 years ago. Left my #s and no one has called.

  4. I bought one or two on eBay, the rest I found in antique malls. I don't think I paid more than $25 to $30 for any one of them. You just need to know what to look for when you're wandering through one of those 100 mini-booth malls where things are piled so deep you have to dig to find a treasure. I think it's more fun that way, honestly.

  6. Diane,
Both F & G are the hardest to find. Those took the longest for me to get. The reason '68 had so many paperweights, was that Joel Myers wanted to include them in the production line. As a matter of fact JPM used several the paperweights as stoppers in several of his decanter designs. There's is a great book on paperweights that has lots of info on Charles "Rabbit" Windsor (paperweight pro at Blenko) and Blenko paperweights.

  7. How do I know they are Blenko if they have no sticker?

  9. You learn the designs, the colors, the feel of the glass. And you will still make mistakes. I think all serious collectors have at least one or two pieces in their collections that are howling mistakes. I keep mine to remind me to be more informed.

  10. I sent the photos to glasslady
and if she is able to say
    this is not blenko
    I know I screwed up
if she has to ask someone before telling me no. . I feel better about the mistake
One large moving box is packed ad labeled not blenko.
This summer I shall have a not Blenko sale.
