Heart of Glass - Blenko Glass

Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.

Desperately Seeking . . . .

Last night my friends and I went to a movie - a regular Friday night.
This morning thoughts of good movies, and great film that I'd love to
own - first edition Shel Silverstein books that I am desperately seeking. . .
material thoughts this am.
Which brings me to BLENKO - there are wonderful pieces of BLENKO GLASS,
some being 'desperately sought' if you aren't a collector - these photos may
inspire you to start. hjh

Want to know more - google BLENKO GLASS and check out the website or
visit http://www.blenkoglass.com/, http://www.blenkoproject.org/ , Blenko Museum and then hit all the references listed on each site.

I also love Shel SIlversteen
Did your parents read his books to you?
My Dad loved him. You know he died recently ( 12).
Estate sales for the books.
I wouldn't know where to look for that the awesome Blenko ( perhaps Bruce will some day sell his)
Thank both you and your friend V for the blog and the terrific updates on the Blenko Project web site.
WVU ran a nice post about you and the blog with a good photo of you and a link to your job with dental school.
