This post is about my friend Mike Euler. Mike was involved in a life altering accident - the accident happen right after college. Mike had just began his engineering career. The prayers of many people were answered as Mike daily grew stronger and his determination to live and have a life never faltered. People talk about West Virginia values and WV families - The Euler family is an example of a great W.Va. family.
This family stays positive, together, focused and always working and walking on God's path. Many people myself included complain daily about going to the gym, find excuses not to go etc. Mike is in a chair. He has very poor hearing, yet daily he goes off to work and he goes routinely to the gym. He also goes regularly to church.
No excuses is the rule Mike lives by.
He'd be embarassed by this post. But he is a special Man, and a special friend to me and my family!
His Mom had the following to say about him in her Holiday Newsletter.
I'm hoping we can get Mike involved in BLenko Collecting! He needs a more colorful activity than hunting Bambi's. Add Mike to your prayer list - if you keep such a thing, or just add your positive comments for Mike to read.

"Mike is doing really well, too. He is amazing. I think what an amazing guy he is. He never gives up. He is still working everyday, lifting weights around 2 or 3 times a week, gets his own groceries, takes care of getting his medicines, does his own daily care, and goes to church every Sunday with us. We talk to him at least once or twice every day. When I look back, it scares me, but then I think what a miracle we have. He has problems keeping the hearing tuned, but we think it is a little better right now. We keep praying that it will get better. Of course, it is all medical science, since he has no real hearing. Isn't that amazing? It still blows my mind that they can make a deaf ear hear. He has a lot of hip pain. We would appreciate your prayers that something can be done for the hip pain and that his hearing will continue to improve. Of course, he is still after everyone to find him a wife. He didn’t get a deer this year; waited too long for “Mr. Big” who didn’t come by but he enjoyed the hunting. "

Just when I think I have you all figured out, you do something unexpected and I learn your depth knows no end.

Speak for yourself. I go to the gym daily without complaint. I lift weights out of fear my own Mom has a bone disease and I want to remain healthy in my rapidly approaching older age. Trust me 30 will sneak up on you Glasslady.
Everyone please send the letters to your State of West Virginia Representatives nominating Hillary for a Outstanding West Virginian 2009 to be honored during the session.
Letters should be in no later than 3/10/09 unless Dr. Bob says something different he lives down there.
