Here are catalog scans of airtwist glassware from the regular Blenko line and the Colonial Williamsburg line. Tim Alonzo - Texas Note: (1) Buying books & catalogues related to the items you plan to collect is a good investment. Joining the Blenko Collectors Society will allow you to meet other collectors of West Virginia and Blenko Glass, you'll learn where to find books, catalogues, glass. (2) Just realized I'm not certain all three of the glasses are pictured here? What are your thoughts?

It is nice to have these resources.
I printed this page. I often print many parts of the blog and all the photos. Thank you to Tim
Sue M.
How old is this glass supposed to be?
Hillary,
the artist who made those beautiful air twists and teardrop stems was Harry Thompson. He was self taught and an absolute marvel. He left Blenko in 1966 to go to Indiana like several of us and he was our foreman there. Before Harry made that stemware Hubert Blake jr. (junie) made about all the stemware and he left Blenko in early to mid '50s to go to Union Carbide. He tragically ended his own life several years ago. Both of these men were the best stemware makers I have seen in my 45 years in the glass industry and were super nice people!........monte
Are there people like Harry now at Blenko? If so, why no airtwist in the current lines?
Hillary, Back in mid January we tried to hit the antique shops in Charleston area, found the shops on D st. behind the mound but google sent me to the wrong block trying to find the Purple Moon and we never found it . What is the best way to get to it. Found another cane in old central city Huntington, Dave said it might have been made by him and Jessy mainly because the collor looks like blenko saphire and is ground on the end the way they did it. Thanks Larry T.
