The Perfect Xmas Gift for the Man in Your Life.
Williamsburg catalog describes the Blenko made glass decanter
'Ideally suited for holding your favorite wine or spirits, this glass decanter was expertly reproduced by Blenko Glass (a family owned and operated company since 1893) from an original in the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation collections. Thomas Jefferson's affinity for French culture led him to plant vineyards at Monticello, and in 1773 he turned more than 2,000 acres of rolling land to a Tuscan, Filipo Mazzei, to "prove the value of native grapes." A great gift for the gentleman who loves to host cocktail hour, this handsome decanter is crafted for a lifetime of use.'

Hi Hillary.
I have attached a link where Colonial Williamsburg has the Blenko products available for sale online. http://www.williamsburgmarketplace.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductLineView?jspStoreDir=wmarket&start=25&catalogId=12122&categoryId=26098&end=33&priceRange=&langId=-1&sortBy=featured&storeId=10001
Blenko is not selling these products only Colonial Williamsburg is selling these products. They have identified that we are the ones making the products.
We are very happy to be in a partnership with Colonial Williamsburg again and hope that the venture will be successful for both of us.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Katie Trippe

Heart of Glass - Blenko Glass
Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.

Is there a man in your life? We have a new resident (2nd year) who would be ideal for you.
While I'm not a match maker I could arrange a luncheon with collectors and you? Let me know.
#1_ The Blenko Glass website should contain information about sales and events. Check there first.
We publish events only as they send the information to the blog.
#2_Elle, Yes we would welcome your photos of the Blenko Reproductions x 2 for Williamsburg
#3_ Sweetdoc when I start to husband hunt - - - I'll be certain to send you a note. Until then refrain from further action, let me continue to be a workacholic. HJH
