Envisioning the Future::BOSTON 2013

“There are those who look at things the way they are, and ask why... I dream of things that never were, and ask why not?” Robert F. Kennedy, April 5, 1968

By partnering with MassArt and MIT, GAS is bringing together both art and science in developing innovative ways of sustaining our practices and inventing new ideas to guide our future. Boston has always been at the forefront of many new intellectual movements and today’s rapidly evolving economic, environmental, and indeed art-critical conditions make this conference timely and important to all who are interested in glass art. Attendees can look forward to cutting-edge demos, lectures and lec-mos by distinguished artists, scientists and writers. GAS will also be hosting the CMoG Hotglass Roadshow and will offer a number of exciting local tours, including the world-renowned Harvard Blaschka Flowers.
