Heart of Glass - Blenko Glass
Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.

Blenko cards
Hello Hillary,
I ordered cards from Diane. They are beautiful. I wanted to frame the cards, so I requested her to sign the front of the cards, which she did. Diane is very nice and professional. I requested her to make a black card, and she did.
Below is picture of the set of 8 cards. I will send more pictures once I frame them.
Regards,
V

Blenko did produce black glass, if memory serves me #1)Glassdoc collects black glass,#2) blenko discontinued it in the late 90s #3) it was made on 3 different occassions for limited time.
Hope this helps.

Blenko did make black or ebony glass several times in the past. It was not popular although it did have a few fans. Blenko was made famous for its COLOR! Black glass nor milk glass never seemed to fit in.
@susan: Blenko did make ebony glass in 2000s. 2004-2005 catalog has black glass on page 6. And according to the older post, they offered ebony glass until 2007.
