Heart of Glass - Blenko Glass
Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.

MAG Auction Friday May 31 2013
Greetings
I am pleased to share, on behalf of The Museum of American Glass in West Virginia, the announcement of one of the great activities to be held at the Museum in Weston, WV to celebrate the 200th anniversary of hot glass making in West Virginia.
We will host a Benefit Auction at the Museum on Friday May 31, 2013 beginning at 7pm. The Museum will be open from noon until sale time on the day of the auction for previewing. The volunteer auctioneer is MAG friend Rock Wilson. Some items to be sold are pure donations to MAG, others will be consigned with 20% of the hammer price being a donation fundraiser for the Museum from the consignor. There are no buyer premiums.
ALL the glass must be made in West Virginia. Pieces to be sold will be displayed in the Museum window for the month prior to the auction.
Members of the Museum can consign up to six items per person to the auction. The request is that items consigned have an anticipated value of greater than $10. There is NO upper value limit! Call MAG in advance (304. 269.5006) to add you name and the number of pieces you wish to consign. The auction will have a minimum of 100 lots of WV glass. A cap of 150 pieces is the most that will be accepted. All pieces consigned should be delivered in person or by post to the museum no later than 6 May to insure they are imaged and appear on the auctionzip web site for the auction. Pieces are indeed welcomed as donations from which the entire sale price will be a donation to MAG.
Thank you for your continued interest and support

hello,
i checked the catalogs again. All the links work, and catalogs show up. Can you please detail where you encountered the problem? If you can describe the year that is not appearing that would be the best.
Thanks\

Learn to use the internet? Yes this was an appropriate comment.
I'm 82 and our retirement home offers weekly classes. I am learning but it is not an easy task.
This blog is so inappropriate. Gosh someone was just trying to use the link and people post the most nastiest of comments. Who moderates this blog and why not delete the negative posts? Just shameful / and sad.
THIS BLOG IS SHAMEFUL AND YOU SHOULD FIND ANOTHER FOR TROLLING.

Hello,
Can you please explain what you mean by "someone was trying to use the link"? About posting negative comments, people do have useful inputs that we can use, however, the language they choose to provide those inputs may be nasty, and moreover, your comment was not particularly not nasty either.
I understand using internet can be a pain, however, we try to make things as convinient as possible. If you have any questions about glass, you can email me directly at vivek.yadav@gmail.com, and I will try and get back as soon as possible.
Thanks,
V
