HI Hillary,
A pair of Husted designed vases. On the left is a Blenko #5824-L in Amethyst with it's smaller version a Blenko # 5824-S in Turquoise. Both of these arrived pretty dirty from their previous owners but cleaned up nicely. Simple forms that Blenko colors just make outstanding and a pleasure to enjoy in a sunny spot.
Hope you enjoy too,
Bruce Specht

THESE TWO COLORS BELONG TOGETHER.
BRUCE HAS BLENKO EVER TRIED TO COMBINE THEN IN ONE PIECE?
MOUNTAIN RITA
Hi Ms. Rita,
I also like the color combination as well. It is very pleasing and I had seen an example that Blenko had made in the Eason Eige and Rick Wilson reference book on page twenty. You will find a bowl that Blenko did that has a amethyst rim that fades into the turquoise bowl. I mentioned this color combination to Richard Blenko several years ago at a reception and asked if Blenko might consider that in the future. As of yet I have not seen any effort to bring this pleasing combination back into production.
We can only hope it might return.
