'It ain't no sin to be glad you're alive." Bruce Springsteen
I take great pleasure in knowing where the dishes I use were make ( Fiesta / W.Va), where my glasses ( Blenko, W.Va) where my cutlery was made (Sweden) . Its important to me that I buy
things that will last and preferable things that were made in the USA and are made to last!
Blenko has been making glass for nearly 100 years, we are blessed in West Virginia to live so near Fiesta and Blenko , to be able to purchase both with major discounts at the factories.
We can daily use our Fiesta and Blenko, enjoying the vivid colors and the high quality table wares.
If you haven't visited Blenko or Fiesta recently, may I suggest you take the family and visit this summer.
Allow your children and grandchildren the pleasure of seeing glass and china being made, to know where their glassware was made.
To feel pride in knowing it was made in their state.
For a number of years Blenko has been hosting weekend events that include activities for children .
If you haven't yet taken advantage of these activities check out the yearly schedule www.blenkoglass.com and plan to attend one or more of the events.

Nice to see you are continuing the blog.
Blenko is now one of the five things I collect.
Why wasn't I buying glass when I actually lived in WVa?
Now I'm buying from ebay or Blenko former employees.
Anyone know of Milton Flea Market vendors who also sell on ebay?
