Identifying Glass.

The Blenko Project has provided readers with either identification of their items or provided a page number and catalog year to assist with identification of glass for more than a decade.  Free of charge.

The Blenko Collectors 4 website has a good selection of Blenko Colors and we refer folks to this
site to help with color identification.

Blenko Project has  6 volunteers who accept your letter and photo - we currently  have a back log of over  11 months.

We can provide you with the names and addresses of certified appraisers who for an hourly fee
will identify and value ( when possible) your glass.

While we realize the back log is frustration.   Two of our most prolific identification volunteers
became unable to volunteer due to personal tragedies involving fire and flooding in 2018.

Thank you for being patient.
We recommend you first spend some time searching catalogs or photos on the web for your glass,
if then you are unable to label.
We'll accept your request via email with clear photos and measurements.

Thank You.

This item is a limited edition.  You'll need to order asap - or drive down to Blenko to purchase.

Mother's Day had its USA origins in W.Va.
When you google Mother's Day  you'll see the following:

The modern holiday of Mother's Day was first celebrated in 1908, when Anna Jarvis held a memorial for her mother at St Andrew's Methodist Church in Grafton, West Virginia.[ St Andrew's Methodist Church now holds the International Mother's Day Shrine. Her campaign to make Mother's Day a recognized holiday in the United States began in 1905, the year her mother, Ann Reeves Jarvis, died. Ann Jarvis had been a peace activist who cared for wounded soldiers on both sides of the American Civil War, and created Mother's Day Work Clubs to address public health issues. Anna Jarvis wanted to honor her mother by continuing the work she started and to set aside a day to honor all mothers because she believed a mother is "the person who has done more for you than anyone in the world"

Each year for more than a decade Blenko Glass has made 'something special ' for this Holiday.

My Family always thought of BLENKO as a destination.   When I was a child, we fed the ducks
and geese.   On one occasion I brought a fishing rod, but had no success.  We would
spend the morning at Blenko .  Then,
either bring a lunch to eat at the lake or stop at one of the'  Milton restaurants, the remainder of
the day would be spent at the 'shops of Milton' or the Milton Flea Market where my Dad
would be seeking Blenko from the 50-60s.

Blenko is the only US  manufacturer of hand rolled sheet glass,  it has over 100 years of
experience in the art of glass making - and its a day trip for most of WVa and much of Ohio
and Kentucky.   Introduce your kids and g-kids to Blenko Glass.
