Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.

Open but for how long?
Blenko's quality is declining much like this blog that you doc glasslady need to pay more attention to or else abandon with flourish.

My neices and nephews are in love with Blenko. The Festival of Glass was the highlight of their summer.
I'm sending photos. Did Blenko provide you with photos? Everyone had a great time. We ask if you were coming, no one seems to have information.
Thank you for the blog and photos.
We don't have a red waterbottle and didn't see these at the factory. Is this item special order?

I noticed that there are always pictures on this blog of items that are not available at the visitors center. Blenko should not allow you to post things that are not true, especially when elderly people go out of thier way to the visitors center and these items are not available.

Anonymous advocate for the elderly.
I am also elderly a young 67
and like most who shop at Blenko Visitor shop I know the items change daily and sometimes hourly.
To expect Hilary or anyone to have an accurate account of what is and isn't at the VC is insane.
The VC is for overruns, mistakes, and items that didn't sale for whatever reason.
If you want specific items use the Blenko website to order.
The VC is for those of us who appreciate Gabriel Brothers shopping. We want a bargain and we'll travel for the bargain.

I want a link to the Tammy Costa glass that is being sold.
Do you have info re: the sale?
Was this the auction glass from Festival of Glass?
Please if any reader has info pass along.

Sam
My wife is doing the same with our gran kids.
She has them searching flea markets for Blenko, Fostoria and
Viking.
Sad. We compulsive pass along the disease.

To Anon from 8/23 post. Hillary does not work for Blenko, they have no control what she posts. Most of the photos posted show vintage glass, are sent by fellow collectors, so would not be available in the vistors center. Antique shops, flea markets, e-bay, your neighbors yard sale, are all hunting grounds for Blenko. If you go to Milton, be sure to check in the antique stores there, I have found some very nice pieces, at very reasonable prices.
Hope this helps.
