Can you ID This Glass?

Readers:  Can we help Carrie identify her Blenko? - HJH

Hello,

Sorry for the long delay. I have attached two photos. I have a green Blenko Vase and I have a blue combination of vase and wine carafe in a glass that has invisible cracks and bubbles that are part of the design (hard to photograph).

All pieces were purchased by my parents, not sure when...they have had for at least 20 years.

Will you let me know, when you post to the blog, will people be interested in buying, can I get estimates on their value?

Carrie

The drinking glass is likely a #418 design, found from 1941 onwards. The labeled vase looks like it is a #9213 in antique green, listed in the catalog as being 11.5" high, and originally sold for $17.50. It does not appear in the 1993 catalog. I don't think the stoppered decanter is Blenko. As for current value, I've seen the glasses in reasonable condition for $10 each. The vase I have not seen, but I would not pay more than $20 for it.

I hope that helps,

Diane
