Makes me happy to know Randy Rider and Katy both made 3 to 6 times more than this.
Sometimes small glass company is best.

How does festival of glass fit into having a court ordered problem with finances?
Should not they be conserving money?

Artist are never paid well.
The smart ones marry well -
or else they like Bayliss teach or have a day job.
I'm not surprised at the salary quoted.
My artistic friends wait tables, work at Kinkos, sell clothing, work in the mall, teach public school. Not one is self supported by art. All are excellent painters, artist of fabric or photographers.

Just read the nasty comment about Blenko spending money of festival of glass.
To make money one has to spend money.
Katy Trip is doing a professional job and is bring Blenko out of the red into the black.
Before she thought of these events no one heard of Blenko Glass.
Get a life.
