We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.

I was at the factory a few weeks ago and had a great time but I do miss some of the folks I always talked to like Red, Wanda, Lemley and of course Shorty and a few others. Bill and Irene
I agree with you Bill and Irene, I miss the days when one could call Jane, and get anything in any color in less than 4 weeks. I miss having a full time designer also. But I am old as the missing people you mentioned. Became friends when Bill Blenko while working on a project for Marshall some 40 years ago. Life changes, Blenko Glass has also in many ways. Im thinking these photos are from the warehouse not the gift shop. The warehouse is open only to those with a business certificate. The gift shop is open to the public. I visited the gift shop on Thursday and found very little. Prices were about 30% higher than 2 years ago. Quality was not superior. Gloria Dodd
