Heart of Glass - Blenko Glass

Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.

Blenko Myers designed decanters

Hi Doc,

A trio of Myers designed decanters in Crystal, Turquoise, and Olive Green. These are Blenko #6947.

Enjoy,

In my former position as the Operations Manager and VP of Blenko Glass, a decorative and architectural glass manufacturer, I directly maintained large accounts as well as handled trade show B2B sales. I was responsible for 20% growth in total sales income and an average of 10% growth in prior years while also reducing overall costs by 15%. The reduction in costs came through lean manufaturing principles as well as VSM.
JUST SAW THIS ON KATIE TRIPPE LINK ACCOUNT.
WOW SHE MUST HAVE BEEN AMAZING VP TO HAVE BEEN TOTALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR GROWTH AT BLENKO!

Mountain Rita,
You are so full of anger.
If KT can waltz her way into another great job, you should cheer her on.
Blenko will survive and continue to grow.
Blenko Glass Company is a family, and I certain they will miss KT but they shall move on.
You Mountain Rita should also move off KT.
Carolee
Aren't we here as collectors or sellers of Blenko?
As such we should leave the politics of the company to the other VPs.

Anonymous - Mountain Rita - Carolee,
I agree with the three of you.
a) If KT can 'waltz' her way into a great job - more power to her.
b) Mountain Rita is angry. I find a lot of those northern panhandle people are angry and always in a hurry.
c) Carolee, Yes. We should all move away from KT, and the job she did on, for Blenko.
Life is too short. Now on to the job of selling Blenko.
