Heart of Glass - Blenko Glass

Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.

Annonymous -
Boyd Miller grew up in Hurricane, which is near Milton.
He is from the Hammon Glass family - I think Mr. Hammon was his grandfather and the younger Mr. Hammon was his uncle - He currently is the Glass Artist in Residence at TAMARACK - a really nice gig. His work is I would image very sought after. Most especially signed pieces. I am on break this week, and will try to get up to Tamarack and interview Boyd Miller - look for a future post and THANK YOU for your letter and photo, I will ask Boyd about your piece and email you his response.
