Hi Doc,
A couple of Blenko #68's in Ruby/Gold handles along with a companion in Sky Blue. Nice pair of Predesigner pieces.
Enjoy,
Bruce

Bruce, you need to teach a class on glass photography. My "studio" is a chair with a white tablecloth over the back. Between natural light and flash, or a combination of the two, I never seem to get quite the right look. Your photos are fabulous. Thanks for sharing so many!

I find myself attracted to all Blenko pre designer
most all Anderson and most all Husted and most all Myers.
After these my desire for Blenko is motivated only by the desires of my wife.
Any one else with this bias?

Can I buy a catalog of pre designer pieces
Other than this how does one know a pre designer Blenko?
The pre-designer pieces are featured in the Eason Eige book. Lots of catalog reproduction pages (many images which were line drawings in the first place), and a section of color and B&W photos. Keep an eye out on eBay, Alibris, Ruby Lane, whatever your favorite online hunting grounds.
Good luck,
Diane

Tell us about Ruby Lane.
Thank you.
Ruby Lane is an online antique mall. It can be found at www.rubylane.com. I have purchased things through them, and had wonderful success. It is where I found the last Eason Eige book, the link for which I sent to Hillary.
Good hunting!

And where I bought the book :)
You got that book only because your fingers were faster
or your card was golden.
BAH Next time Hilary list a prize its mine.
Wonderful photo, Bruce. I have several pre-designer pieces, most scored on e-bay over the past 3 years. I have a deep, almost peacock blue like your sky blue. Not a color you often see, very striking. It is displayed with several '40's, '50's and a couple of newer items, all in blues and greens, on a mantle, underneath an oil painting of a rainy street, in misty blues. Getting a usable photo of it for the blog hasn't worked.
