Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.
My comments are not showing. 8/27/2010 is the final day for my committment to this program. It is my fondest wish that my comments appear prior to the closing of Blenko Glass. Does anyone know how Blenko is doing? The blog seems not to address this issue
I dont want to sound negative but my Blenko has changed. The glass is different from color to quality. On my last visit I noticed the people have changed, they used to really enjoy their jobs you could tell. The ones that are there now act like they don't want to be there and don't care if you are there or not. I hope they get their troubles worked out it is like losing part of my family. I can't imagine how the older employees feel.

I will take many pictures when I visit Blenko visitor center in June this yr and post it in the blog and also for you to look at in my picasa.
