Heart of Glass - Blenko Glass

Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. If you want to know the VC hours, office hours, or schedule of the factory, go to www.blenkoglass.com, call the office, or sign up for the email. This blog knows very little of the schedule of Blenko.

Hours on the www.blenkoglass.com are not the hours kept.
So good luck at finding the correct hours.
One thing anonymous got right this blog doesn't know what the schedule of Blenko is.
I'll also bet Walter doesn't know the schedule at Blenko.

B.E. another set of stupid comments. Winter hours, beginning Jan. 1 for the VC are 8 to 4 monday thru friday. Saturday 9 to 4, Sunday 12 to 4. Call the VC to find out if there are any self-guided tours daily, as Blenko has said time and again, they are on winter break. Most people call before making a trip anyway, just to be sure. Seems like common sense, to me. Walter is involved in every aspect of Blenko, don't kid yourself. The staff is better than it has been in years. They have had a huge mess to clean up and should be appreciated for all they have done. I am sick to death of the ugly people on this site who constantly say things that are not true. It is disgusting.

Early Monday Morning just in from a TV watching night with friends.

your comment is the only negative or usly comment on this page.
I am getting sick of your comments and your continued negative comments toward collectors who comment on this blog.
It is a known fact Blenko hours are not as published on www.blenkoglass.com or on the door. Trying visiting or calling in the afternoon or between 11 and 1 if you get an answered phone I will be surprised.
But enough - what Blenko does or does not do is Blenko's issue.
We are here to learn about glass, what to buy, where to look, an also to share info.
Perhaps if you had a hobby to occupy your free time.

your comments seem to be the only negative ones on this page.
Filled with name calling.
RE: Staff better than ever?
Didn't you recently loose 3 experienced blower/ finishers?
These can't be easy to replace.
Collectors all have contacts inside the factory - some speak daily. We know more about whats going on than you think.
This huge mess you had to clean up? How many years ago was this? One can only blame others for a time after which the leaders take responsiblity.

The hours posted for the VC are online, and are accurate. Possibly you just can't read and comprehend.

Elle, the hours are on the door....read them. The hours are on the website....read it. I, also, am sick of the ignorance on this site. You people aren't Blenko supporters. You rarely have anything positive to say about the company or it's employees. If you hate it so much, why not stay away? Try collecting some Wal Mart glass.

Hours are posted
this is true.
Try phoning Blenko between 12 and 2
drive by after 3:30
and count the cars.
Posted hours are
just this posted hours.
