Did anyone attend the Paper weight program held in Weston last month?
I went w/o my camera, I was told Hilary was there earlier in the day.
Wonderful day. We bought a 1950s paperweight and 2 new paper weights all made by WV artist.
Two more and I'm an official collector of paper weights.
Any info additonal about Blenko paper weights would be appreciated.

The 2007-2008 catalog (the last one I have an actual copy of) has a star (201-1) and a heart (902-1) paperweight, flat crystal items, and there is a crystal moulded starfish (941-1) under the "Novelties" section. The website has all three available currently. At Valentine's Day, they used to have different colored hearts, which you can have etched with a one word message like the little candy hearts. I didn't notice if they were available this year, and they're not currently listed.

In addition to the vintage paperweights in the photo, Blenko also did molded paperweights of all the zodiac signs, Those are really easy to find on eBay, Ruby Lane and sometimes in brick and mortar antique shops. The first last and only time I was at Blenko (for the first convention) they had made a special run of these in ebony. Check the Visitor's Center, they may have them available occasionally.

Hope that helps!

Callie I went but arrived at 3pm after the lecture.
About 75 people and 4or 5k paperweights.
Best collection in the US I bet.
