Blenko Collector Beth sent this photo.
Does anyone have the # for the Watermelon?

I recall the gleam in your Moms eyes when she spoke of finding a watermelon and a pineapple to complete your Dads collection.
Is this one being offer on auction?

There is an asian traditon of having watermelon for goodluck.
This one could bring 365 days a year good luck.
Is this difficult to obtain?
Phani thank you for reminding us of the festival of color a festival Blenko Collectors who rejoyce in color should appreciate.
Your Mom and I are proud that you continue to celebrate traditonal holidays.

Your comments are always so insightful and filled with interntonal informaton.
After reading this I ask one of the asian seniors in my group and she also knew of the watermelon traditon and she wears a watermelon charm.

Hi All, I found this beauty at an estate sale. It is #9356L, in Alpine, the only piece made in Alpine by Blenko. It is a nice, large 13" tall and I believe it was designed by Hank Adams. I love his work! ~Beth

I have it in alpine. You want it? It's $399.98. I don't negotiate and only take Paypal or money order.
