Blenko Glass Heart of Glass Blog

Blenko Glass Designers - Someone said an artist is merely someone with good listening skills who accesses the creative energy of the Universe to create. Well. . . .I decided long ago

I would pay for the art and appreciate the artist and his connection with the universe.

Jalai UD Din Rumi " Inside you there's an artist you don't know about . . . . Say yes, quickly, if you know, if you've known it from the before the beginning of the universe."

At Blenko Glass most all the skilled workers are creative and could and do design, however they are also very pleased and grateful to have a master designer work with them. They know their art form will be improved by having this trained master of design. The group works very well together without ego interference. This is the way of the artist.

The real meaning to Rumi's words can only happen if we are courageous enough to allow the experience to happen inside us...Meditation the only avenue.

How many employees
who work with glass soley
remain at Blenko?
How many administrative
employees?
Is there a full time designer? Is there only one designer?
Do the employees design are
they encouraged to design?
Curious

Rumi a very deep quote for such a superfical blog.
Rumi would not approve of hoarding glass or using ones precious time to promote the hoarding of glass.
BTW I adore this blog and the photos are magnificent. Your humor and the mix of serious and playfulness keep me returning.
Question. Is Blenko mending?
You seem to avoid speaking of the apparent problems.

Where can one find info about purchasing the work of Bayliss and other designers that is not
made in the factory?
