Title

Heart of Glass - Blenko Glass

Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.

Who is Keith Morris?

Hillary I bought a glass container at Blenko the card says made by Shop # and list the name Keith Morris. Is he retired and what can you tell me of Keith Morris?
Madge Q.
Madge,
Keith Morris is not retired, the Blenko Glass http://www.blenkoglass.com/ and the Blenko Project http://www.blenkoproject.org/ websites list Keith as a 23+ year employee of Blenko Glass.
Can you send a photo of the glass? I think you may have one of the Festival of Glass pieces - they were made by different shops and sold during the Festival of Glass 2010.
Make plans to attend the 2011 Festival of Glass and meet Keith Morris, Randy Rider, Shorty Finley's grandson and other Blenko Glass workers.

Miss your Blenko gatherings.
I agree keith Morris is another of the kind gentlemen who produce Blenko glass w/o complaining, striking or seeking attention.
Hilary a couple years ago you were monthly writing bout the Blenko employees - my best guess is many are no longer employed by Blenko. Why not return to this feature, so we know who is now making the glass we collect?

Another note:
What do you hear from Roxie?
I no longer see her comments, but then my comments fail to appear 3 out of 4 times.

Will Blenko again offer items made by different shops?
Can we phone order these?
Will you post photos?
Getting to Blenko is for me a $600 visit one I do no more than once a year.
Help, ask Blenko admin to consider those of us not living near WV.
