Heart of Glass - Blenko Glass

Blenko Glass is a West Virginia treasure that spans generations. Nothing symbolizes the state of West Virginia better or more beautifully than Blenko Glass. This is a great weekend folks. Last year Tommie and I brought 3 of her 5 grandkids, we took classes, ate too much junk food, met other collectors, traded some glass for pieces we needed.
Visited Dave Osburn's place and then went to the South Charleston Antique Mall.
Next day we went to the new unimproved Milton Flea market and the shops of Milton.
Other than the less than great hotel room, we had good family friendly fun filled weekend for less than $400 including purchases, food, gas & room.
Our grandkids still talk about the glass blowing. At Dollywood this summer they compared the artist to the gentlemen they say during Blenko's weekend.
State of West Virginia should also provide free advertisement of this weekend to encourage tourist.
