We will discuss current and former craftsmen and designers and how important it is that Blenko and West Virginia glass be appreciated and valued by the younger generation.

Photos of Monte's Glass

'A Few Weeks ago Monte a retired Blenko Craftsman wrote to us, he sent these photos of his glass collection.' hjh






















































Description of Monte's Glass - Now Let's Hope I can get the photos to match the descriptions.











1979 - Large Tangerine bottle mid 50s
1982 - 3 49 wine decanter and glasses gived to my father in late 1940s
1983 - 3 small Blenko pieces 50s and 60s1984 - Spun ashtray in pink mid 50s
1993 - tall bottle late 50s early 60s
1992 - water bottle and ashtray Grandma Jenkins and I made on lunch hour ot of a pot of glass that didn't turn
out but we liked the color. Grandma gave his to my brother in law
1996 - Black bubble ashtray of my design i made at Blenko on lunch hour
2005 - Don't know how or when we acquired this one
2003 - #366 M first piece I ever blew at Blenk
1998 - A Dunlavy Glass lamp - I have to blow my own horn
2000 - Dunlavy Glass jack 'n' pulpit w/cranberry thread
