Kissin' Kate Antiques is worth the visit. Clean, neat and well stocked. Great prices. I recently bought a beautiful etched tall elegant compote and was well satisfied with the purchase. Ron Huntington, W.V.

Rita

to your question, I would confess that the collector's eyes belong soley to my wife. I think one of the reasons we have some neat things in the store is that she tends to buy things the she loves. Thus, every sale comes with a tear. We do collect and sometimes we trade pieces between the store and our house (and don't get me started on what's stored in the garage). The business is my wife's fulltime job. I am a geologist and engineer and do environmental work for a living. My "other" job is helping at the store and going to auctions, etc. Thanks!!

Like Rita, I also enjoy your photos and somehow I just knew your family loved glass same with the Larry of Serenity Glass of TX that Hilly introduced, when glasslovers buy they buy quality and sell quality only.
I plan to visit.

You were closed on Saturday when I arrived but now I have the address and the times listed on map.
We shall return. My wife loved peeping in the window.

Purple Moon was also closed, does everything in your end of the state close early on Saturdays?

Hi Dr. Bob,
Please accept my apologies that we were not open upon your visit to Hurricane. I try very hard to always be open 10 - 5 Monday thru Saturday, however I keep the shop open with only the help of one part time assistant. However, recently we have both had some illness in our families and have been a little erratic with our hours.
Please, if you are coming to our store from out of the area, contact me through our website:
www.kissinkatesantiques.com and let me know when you would like to get in the store. I only live two miles from the shop and gladly open after hours for your convenience.
We still have literally hundreds of pieces of Blenko, as well as Osburn, Demuelles, Gibson, and the best collection of Bob Hamon glass that you will find anywhere.
Thank you so much for stopping by, and again, please accept my apologies! Linda King ( Kissin Kates)
