It seems people are loosing interest in Blenko since the closure drama in jan-feb.
What can we do to improve this?
Saw no eggs, baskets, or bunnys.
I am not sure Chitra but I am certain that a lot have curbed their spend. I certainly felt there was less feedback for the posts though.

my thoughts are we need to have some persons step up with orderly plans for support groups (collector groups) and them the management needs to keep public informed on a regular basis of actions either on this blog or their own website.
No communication is frustrating to collectors not so much to me but for new folks its heart wrenching.
Explain EASTER?
The baskets and eggs are all over my office from the 3 years you have been telling me to buy.
Went to get more for the new clinic and saw very little.
Check with them maybe I'm loosing my mind.
Margie:
Chitrakhan said it well. Blenko's closing drama made me loose interest. I will always love WV made, hand made, glass, etc. However, I just had to step back a little bit at the risk of saying things I would regret. I am cautiously optimistic that Blenko is back in limited production but can't get my hopes up for upcoming events and offerings.
America has entered very different times now. Gone is the security that your job will be there in a year, or two, or three. Gone is the sense of employee/worker loyalty that was the backbone of the last 1/2 of the 20th century. Gone is the hope that something you enjoy (e.g., Blenko glass) will be available a year from now.
If there is a birthday piece this year, I will try to drive up and purchase one.
However, I do still check this blog to follow the adventures of our wonderful cheerleader Hillary and to keep up with my virtual friends like you, Margie! Thanks for asking .... Ram? Are you out there?

For the last month or more we have not knowingly allowed any negative comments to be published - this action cuts down on the # of comments, we felt it was necessary as the comments often become arrows at the office staff and management -
Bloggers have no control over management - and the purpose of thie blog is to attract new collectos and create interest. Their are a number of ongoing blogs that allow space for these comments - This Blog is to promote Blenko Glass and WV Glass. and our beautiful state.
Unless you guys can convince me otherwise email: theblenkoproject@aolcom. These are difficult times for all factories - let us work together to keep interest in BLENKO alive.
JOIN now the Blenko Collectors Society - then become an active member, ask what you can do to help!
Today we'll email Karin and Tim about the 2009 meeting - then we shall start promoting a Blenko collectors gathering.
If you haven't started giving BLENKO for every gift - do so now!
Blenko Glass is always an appropriate gift.
CAN YOU PUT UP A PHOTO OF THE 2009 WV BIRTHDAY PIECE SO WE HAVE SOSMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO?
DO IT NOW PLEASE.

I agree with you WV Janis our wonderful cheerleader Hillary has given a very positive outlook to Blenko and her constant effort despite of all the Blenko issues is great ..

Happy Easter Margie , WV Janis and to all

THE FIRING OF RICHARD BLENKO WAS THE BEGINNING OF THE END.
WHY WOULD A COMPANY DO THIS? THEN THE HIRING OF A INEXPERIENCED REPLACEMENT?
THEY WANT TO GO DOWN IN FLAMES.
JUST MY OPINION- BUT AGREE WITH CK AND WVJ INTEREST AND HOPE DIED WITH RICKS DEPARTURE. BLENKO NOW HAS NO FACE, NO IDENTITY.
